Safesupplies respects your privacy. This privacy statement explains which personal data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

2. Which data do we process?

• Name, company name and contact details (email address, phone number)
• Billing and delivery address
• VAT number (for business orders)
• Order and payment details
• Login details for your customer account
• Information you enter in our contact, demo or quote form
• Technical data such as IP address, browser and browsing behaviour on our website (via cookies)

3. Why do we process this data?

• To process, deliver and invoice your order (performance of the contract)
• To contact you about your question, demo or quote request
• To inspect respiratory protection and keep the inspection history
• To send you our newsletter, only if you have signed up for it (consent)
• To comply with legal obligations, such as the statutory retention period for tax records
• To improve our website and analyse how it is used (legitimate interest or consent)

4. Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to provide our services, such as our payment provider (Mollie), carriers delivering your order, our website and business software provider (Odoo) and Google for website statistics. We make agreements with parties that process data on our behalf to protect your data. We also share data when required by law.

5. Cookies

Our website uses functional cookies that are needed for the website and web shop to work, such as your shopping cart and language choice. We also use analytical and marketing cookies from Google (including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) to measure how the website is used. More information can be found in our cookie policy.

6. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Order and invoice data is kept for 7 years due to the statutory retention period for tax records. Data from contact, demo and quote requests is kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain the customer relationship. Your newsletter subscription runs until you unsubscribe.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use. Our website uses a secure connection (HTTPS).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the processing, restrict the processing, request data portability and withdraw consent you have given. Send your request to info@safesupplies.nl. We will respond within four weeks.

Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
